Directions to Praise Assembly of God

If you are familiar with the Rumford Area:

From the Rumford area traveling west on Rt 2: Just past the Rt. 2 Diner there is a road to the right.There is an Assembly of god sign there.  Take that right onto the Andover Road. Go about 2 miles. We are just a little past Dukes Auto Sales on the right.

From the Bethel area traveling east on Rt. 2: Go through Rumford Point and continue about another 3 miles. You will see the Blue Iris Motel on the right and then go around a curve. Just as the curve is ending there will be a road to the left.There is an Assembly of God sign there. Take that turn which is the Andover Road.  Go about 2 miles. We are just a little past Dukes Auto Sales on the Right.

Directions to Linnell Motel in Rumford

From the Rumford area traveling west on Rt. 2: Turm right on Prospect Ave between Teena's Resterant and River Valley Crossing (Where Mardens is located). The Linnell Motel will be on your left after you turn. The Pavillion and Conference center is located behind the Motel as is the parking area.

From the Bethel Area traveling east on Rt. 2: Go through Rumford Point and Rumford Center and continue on to just past McDonald's which will be on your right. Turn left just past the River Vally Crossing shopping plaza (where Marden's is located) onto Prospect Ave. The Linnell Motel will be on your left after you turn. The Pavillion and Conference center are located behind the Motel, as is the parking area.

    Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

  • Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS

    Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

  • India -- becoming the church's greatest opportunity

    Experts are predicting that India will become the most populous country in the world as soon as 2020 — the India Assemblies of God plans to have 25,000 new churches planted by the same date.

  • Dick Gruber honored for work by "Children's Ministry Magazine"

    Dick Gruber, Valley Forge professor and former Children's Ministries consultant for the Assemblies of God, was recognized as one of the top 20 influencers in children's ministry in the September/October issue of Children's Ministry Magazine.

  • Three-time AG college president passes

    Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
